Public, private, or anonymous

Choose the audience when you create or edit a prayer.

• Public: visible to the PRYR community.
• Private: kept out of public discovery.
• Anonymous: the request can receive community prayer without displaying your identity.

Your profile

Your profile name, photo, bio, and general location help people recognize who they are praying with. Anonymous requests do not link other members to your profile.

Beacons protect precision

Prayer and praise Beacons use generalized or privacy-adjusted coordinates. They are meant to reveal the presence of prayer in a community, not a person’s exact home or address.

Reflections stay private

Your prayer journal and Prayer Journey are private account content. They are not posted to the community unless you intentionally create a separate update or praise.

Control alerts

Use PRYR Settings to choose which prayer activity reaches you. You can also change PRYR notification permission at any time in your iPhone or Android system settings.

Walking and driving are optional

Prayer Walk and Prayer Drive only begin when you choose to start them. Turn off Enable Prayer Paths in Settings if you no longer want to see the prompt.

Your account and data

Use Settings → Delete Account in PRYR to submit a deletion request. We process requests within 30 days and email confirmation when complete. Cancel any Apple or Google Play subscription separately. You can also request deletion without installing the app: email privacy@pryr.app from your PRYR account email with the subject “Delete my PRYR account.” We may verify account ownership before deleting your account, associated personal content and uploaded files. Requests are processed within 30 days, except information we must legally retain. Other group members’ personal prayers remain theirs. Never send your password. Contact PRYR Support from your account email for access, export or correction requests.

Report a concern

If a prayer, profile, or interaction creates a privacy or safety concern, contact support with enough detail for us to locate it. Never send your password or verification code.
