Lord Jesus Christ. The Prayer .

O Mother of the eternal King of glory ! by the sharp thorns with which his sacred head was cruelly pierced, we beseech thee to intercede for us, that we may be preserved here from all sins of pride, and in the day of judgment from the confusion which our in- iquities deserve. Amen
