In the Name of the Father, &c. Amen

Ant. I will go unto the altar of God.

R. To God, who rejoiceth my youth. PSALM XL II. J udge me, O God, and distinguish my cause from the nation that is not holy ; from the un- just and deceitful man deliver me.

R. Since thou, O God, art my strength, why hast thou rejected me ? and why do I go sorrowful whilst the enemy afflicteth me ? P. Send forth thy light and thy truth : they have conducted and brought me unto thy holv mount, and into thy tabernacles.

R. And I will go unto the altar of God ; to God, who rejoiceth my youth. P. I will praise thee on the harp, 0 God, my God. Why art thou sorrowful, 0 my soul, and why dost thou disturb me ?

R. Hope in God, for him will I still praise : he is my God and the Saviour I look for. P. Glory be to the Father, &c.
