To thee, O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I devote and offer up my life, thoughts, words, actions, pains, and sufferings. To thee I consecrate my soul and body, with all the faculties and senses thereof, so that no part of my being may any longer be employed but in loving, serving, honouring, and glorifying thee. Be thou, O most sacred Heart, the sole object of my love, the protector of my life, the pledge of my salvation, and my secure refuge at the hour of my death.
