Loud Jesus Christ, who hast promised a blessing to the clean of heart, look down on our frailty, and renew a right spirit within us ; assist us to subdue that concupiscence, which wars against the soul : thus overcoming this inward enemy, may we serve thee with the purity of thy Virgin Mother. Amen
