we beseech thee, from the lofty throne of thy glory, to which thy tears and penances have raised thee, the grace of a sincere conversion of heart and of a lively sorrow for our sins, and, after a holy life passed like thine in the love of Jesus crucified for us, a happy death, and the crown of glory in the bosom of the Eternal Beati- tude. Amen
