R. Quia Dominus reg- navit a ligno, alleluia. Ant. The Crucified hath arisen from the dead, and hath redeemed us, alleluia, alleluia.

V. Tell ye among the nations, alleluia.

R. That the Lord hath reigned from the tree, alleluia. Oremus *"|^Veus, qui pro nobis gU Filium tuum Cru- cis patibulum subire vo- luisti, ut inimici a nobis expelleres potestatem : Let us pray Ogod, Who for our sakes didst will that Thy Son should suffer the death of the cross, and thereby free us from Digitized by Vespers for Sundays 7*3 concede nobis, famulis tuis ; ut resurrectionis gratiam consequamur. Per eumdem Christum Dominum nostrum.
