There is no need, however, for special beads. By repeating certain indulgenced ejaculations, accord- ing to one's choice, with the ordinary string of beads, a perfect treasury of indulgences is obtained. As a private form of devotion, it can be adapted to one's inclination. Some printed forms of the Sacred Heart Beads are misleading, because they do not discriminate carefully enough between ejaculations that have an indulgence attached for each recitation, and such as have an in- dulgence that can be gained but once a day.
