Teresa of the Infant Jesus, who didst show so |5$ much love, for thy Divine Spouse, and didst ever hold "that deeds, even the most brilliant, without love count as nothing — that true love is nourished by sacrifice"; obtain for me, I beseech thee, from the Lord Jesus, a faith strong enough to raise me above all earthly things, a love without bound or limit, grace to do His holy will, so that no trial or suffering shall ever be able to separate me from Jesus and His blessed Mother. I likewise entreat thee, St. Teresa, to obtain for me the particular favor I ask in this Novena, if it be for the honor and glory of God, the salvation of my own soul, and the welfare of those for whom I pray. draper (From the Mass of her feast) OLord, Who hast said: Unless ye become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven, grant unto us, we beseech Thee, so to follow the footsteps of blessed Teresa, virgin, in lowliness and simplicity of heart that we may gain everlasting rewards.
