In Advent Hymnus Hymn a fcEAR Maker of the starry skies. Light of believers ever- more, Jesu, Redemptor omni- Jesu, Redeemer of man- reator alme siderum Sterna lux creden- tium, urn, kind, Intende votis supplicum. Be near us who Thine aid implore. Qui daemon is ne fraudi- When man was sunk in bus Peri ret orbis, impetu Amoris actus, languidi Mundi medela f actus es. Commune qui mundi ne- fas Ut expiares, ad crucem E Virginis sacrario Intacta prodis Victima. Cujus pGftectas gloria, sin and death, Lost in the depth of Satan's snare, Love brought Thee down to cure our ills By taking of those ills a share. Thou, for the sake of guilty men, Permitting Thy pure blood to flow, Didst issue from Thy Virgin shrine, And to the Cross a victim go. So great the glory of Thy might, Nomenque cum primum If we but chante Thy sonat. name to sound, Vespers for Sundays Et coelites et inferi Tremente curvantur ge- nu. Te deprecamur ultima Magnum diei judicem, Armis supernae gratiae Defende nos ab hostibus. Virtus, honor, laus, gloria Deo Patri cum Filio, Sancto simul Paraclito In saeculorum saecula. Amen
