Tuam in Vitam Aeternam, Soul to Life Everlasting. a
Grant, Lord, that what we have taken with our mouth, we may receive with a pure mind ; and of a temporal gift may it become to us an eternal remedy. Prayer during the ablution.
Grant us, O Lord, a part in the fruits of thy death and passion, the sacred memory of which we have commemorated in this our sacrifice and communion. I adore thy goodness, O gracious Lord, for thy inestimable favour in admitting me to be present this day at that holy sacrifice where thou art both Priest and Victim. Oh, make me always sensible of so great a blessing, and let not my unworthiness put a bar to thy mercy and goodness. y 2 Digitized by CjrOOQlC 246 CANON OF THE MASS.
