come. Amen.1 Then he kisses the Altar, and , turning to the people , says : "f. Dominus vobiscum. "f . The Lord be with you. 3^7. Et cum spiritu tuo. 3^?. And with thy spirit. This being finished , the Priest takes the paten with the Host [if it is High Mass , the Deaton hands the Priest the paten with the Host], and offering it up , says: Suscipe, sancte Pater, Accept, O holy Father, omnipotens, aeterne Deus, almighty, eternal God, this hanc immaculatam Host- immaculate Host, which I, iam, quam ego indignus thy unworthy servant, offer famulus tuus offero tibi Deo unto thee, my living and meo vivo et vero, pro in- true God, for my innumer- numerabilibus peccatis, et able sins, offences, and ne- offensionibus, et negligen- gligences, and for all here tiis meis, et pro omnibus present; as also for all circumstantibus ; sed et pro faithful Christians, both liv- omnibus fidelibus Christi- ing and dead, that it may anis, vivis attjue defunctis ; be profitable for my own ut mihi et illis proficiat ad and for their salvation unto salutem in vitam aeternam, life eternal. Amen
