O Lord, for apud te justificabitur homo, in thy sight shall no man be nisi per te omnium peccatorum justified, unless through thee ei tribuatur remissio. Non ergo remission of all his sins be eum, quaesumus, tua judicialis granted unto him. Let not, sententia premat, quem tibi therefore, we beseech thee, vera supplicatio fidei Christi- the sentence of thy judgment anae commendat: sed gratia weigh upon him, whom the tua illi succurrente, mereatur true supplication of Christian evadere judicium ultionis, qui, faith doth commend unto thee: dum vixerit, insignitus est sig- but by the succour of thy naculo Sanctae Trinitatis*: qui grace, may he merit to escape vivis et regnas in saecula saecu- the judgment of vengeance, lorum. who, while he lived, was marked with the seal of the Holy Trinity : who livest and reignest for ever and ever.
