V. Dominus vobiscum.

R. Et cum spiritu tuo. Oremus. Domine sancte, Pater omni- potens, aeterne Deus, te fide- nter deprecamur, ut accipienti fratri nostro (vel sorori nos- tra) sacrosanctum Corpus Domini nostri Jesu Christi, Filii tui, tam corpori quam animae prosit ad remedium sempiternum : qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitate Spiritus Sancti Deus per omnia saecula saculorum. Arnen.

V. The Lord be with you.

R. And with thy spirit. Let us pray.

O holy Lord, almighty Fa- ther, eternal God, we ear- nestly beseech thee, that the most sacred Body of our Lord Jesus Christ thy Son, which our brother (or our sister) has now received, may be to him an eternal remedy, both of body and soul: who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen
