Lord. Amen

At the Introit.

Grant, O Lord, we may be truly prepared for the offering this great sacrifice to thee this day ; and because our sins alone can render us displeasing to thee, there- fore we cry aloud to thee for mercy. DEVOTIONS FOR MASS. At the Kyrie eleison. Either repeat with the Priest, or say: Have mercy on me, O Lord, and forgive me all my sins. Have mercy on me, O Lord, have mercy on me. The Gloria in excelsis. Repeat this with the Priest. Glory be to God on high, and on earth peace to men of good will.

We praise thee ; we bless thee ; we adore thee ; we glorify thee.

We give thee thanks for thy great glory, O Lord God, heavenly King, God the Father almighty.

O Lord Jesus Christ, the only begot- ten Son : O Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, who takest away the sins of the world, have mercy on us : thou who takest away the sins of the world, receive our prayers : thou who sittest at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For thou only art holy: thou only art the Lord: thou only, O Jesu Christ, with the Holy Ghost, art most high in the glory of God the Father. Amen

Where this comes from

This page is part of PRYR’s public-domain library buildout from The Golden Manual. OCR has been cleaned enough for reading, but high-value pages should still be proofed against the scan before app-native use.
