Open thou our lips, O Lord, to bless thy holy name ; cleanse our hearts from all our wandering and distract- ing thoughts ; enlighten our understandings, and inflame our wills, that we may perform this holy exercise with due attention and devotion, and deserve to be heard in the presence of thy divine Majesty, through Christ our Lord. Amen
