We beseech thee , hear us. Through the glory and happiness which now thou dost enjoy in hea- ven, Friend of the heavenly Bride- groom, Intercede for us.

Blessed franeis Xavier, be- loved of God and men, Intercede for us. LITANY OP ST. ALOYSIUS QONZAGA. Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, Spare nr, O Lord . Pray for us, St. Francis Xavier. ip. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ'. Let us pray.

O God, who dost glorify those who glorify thee, and who art honoured in the hon- our which we render to thy Saints ; mercifully grant that, in celebrating the glorious me- mory of the blessed Francis Xavier, we may feel in our- selves the happy effects of his powerful intercession with thee. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, who reignest for ever and ever. Amen
