WE beseech Thee, O Lord, let the earnest desire of Thine obedient people move Thy pity, and let their faithful supplication obtain Thy mercy; that what they cannot claim by merits they may receive by the abundance of Thy par- don ; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
