WE beseech Thee, O Lord, let the strong crying of Thy Church ascend to the ears of Thy loving-kindness ; that receiving forgiveness of sins, it may become devout by the working of Thy grace, and tranquil under the protection of Thy power; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
